working on that storm request----yes the north has had plenty...a good storm track thru the southern states would be a nice change of pace for a bit.

been having electrical problems here....very strange ones, and this weekend the phone in the kitchen (also where the dsl comes in) was dead for a bit--took the dsl with it, no idea why (no one was in the kitchen or even near it either day).....very strange stuff.

We were supposed to get another storm this afternoon but I guess it missed us cause it got dark out and we heard thunder but there was no rain or lightening... Oh well.

Btw for soccer, Portugal kicked the s#@% out of North Korea 7-0. I laughed.

We got more storms and it seems like more are on the way! Goodness, so many storms around here! Makes it difficult to get out to the field to do lab work though...

every time it rains my cable goes out.....and the dumb cable company wont send anyone out to look outside (the DISPATCH office does that--and the customer service people cant schedule for them--and yes the dispatch office has neither a phone nor a way of contacting them, nice really nice).
my dsl seems to be working ...now the light on the oven has gone wonkey.....need to get rid of that electronic gremlin that got into my house!

Sounds like a problem my car is having... Recently every time it has rained it argues with me about starting up. It fires but won't quite catch... Quite an annoying little problem especially when it is storming out. I barely beat the storm before I got her started. Was not a happy camper with her, but at the end of the day she started right up because she had time to drive in the sun. Oh well.

the hot is meh---lived in japan for 2 years (can you say 100F and 90% humidity?? my stainless steel shoe horn RUSTED in 3 weeks there!)...it even made florida feel cooler.

glad its finally summer though---not a fan of snow and cold weather either.
